HAPPY NEW YEAR

All of the holiday festivities are over but don't be sad.......Look FORWARD to 2019 and make some plans to do fun things.  Check out your local Senior Center or be adventurous and visit a Meetup group.  Make some positive changes for the new year.  Senior Living in Charleston is full of new possiblities from strolling around historic Charleston, to taking a walk in one of the many parks, walking along one of the beaches or just meeting a friend for coffee.  If you've never been there and you LIKE cats, visit the Pounce Cafe in the city.  If you are at a loss for where to start, give me a call or email me.  I'd be happy to accompany you on your first new adventure....................HAVE A HAPPY AND BLESSED NEW YEAR............and if you have a real estate need or question, please do call.

I personally am a member of 3 MEETUP groups.............two are for women over 50 and one is a bookclub.  You can browse the groups and find something that interests you.  One of my women's groups does a variety of things from picnics, going out to dinner, parties, walks, happy hours and movies.  The other women's group does mainly lunch once each week at a different place but also some other evening events. There is never a reason to be lonely with all that we have going on in Charleston, SC and by Charleston, I also mean to include Mt. Pleasant, Summerville, Goose Creek, the Isle of Palms, Sullivans Island, James Island, Johns Island, Folly Island and Folly Beach, Ladson, Moncks Corner, Kiawah Island, Seabrook Island and even Cottageville............ There are groups all over no matter what city you are in.  I am fortunate that I live in the center of all these towns so I can get to any one of them in a half hour. (except Kiawah and Seabrook)
